A New Blanket In Progress

Current Project

Another granny square blanket! But this time, for Holden! I'm doing something slightly different and I am currently full of several emotions.

I'm excited because I had a lot of fun making Hudson's blanket. But also annoyed because it's going to take much much longer.

Hudson’s squares were 4 rounds.

Holden’s squares are 6 rounds.

Hudson’s squares were solid.

I'm mixing and matching with Holden’s.

Hudson’s took 96 squares.

Holden’s will take at least 140. Maybe more.

No set pattern that I'm following this time.

Overall, this will be a fun learning experience and will help me practice flexing my creative skills and force me to embrace “winging” it.

Here's to hoping I still enjoy crocheting granny squares after this 😅
